Dave Obenauer is Chief Executive Officer with CRC Group. Obenauer originally joined CRC Group through the 2012 acquisition of Crump Property & Casualty Insurance. With over 36 years of insurance industry experience, Obenauer focuses on shaping and pursuing strategic priorities across CRC Group as the company evolves to continue meeting client and marketplace needs.
As CEO, Obenauer is responsible for leading a wholesale and specialty insurance platform which includes CRC Specialty + Benefits as well as underwriting operations encompassing Starwind Specialty, Atrium Underwriting, and AmRisc. With over 6,000 specialist employees, these operations produce over $30B of premium volume annually across both the property and casualty industry as well as the employee benefits sector.
