The winner of this category will be a company or team that has excelled in their approach to assisting organizations to prevent cyber-related losses. Also known as our “pre-breach” or “Cyber Safety & Loss Control” team of the year, this award recognizes achievements in cyber risk mitigation and efforts to reduce cyber exposure.

Cyber Claims Team of the Year (Insurer or MGA)

This award honors those claims teams in the cyber-trenches dealing with an ever-expanding array of cyber events.

Cyber Incident Response Team of the Year

This award honors a cyber services team with forensics, investigations, PR/communications and/or notification expertise that has offered outstanding support in the face of a 2025 cyber breach.

Cyber Newcomer of the Year

This award is specifically designed to recognize a start-up operation or new market entrant in 2025. The winner will have made a mark on the industry and achieved widespread recognition for their efforts. 

Cyber New Product or Innovation of the Year

This award recognizes a product launch or innovation in 2025 that was significant. This development made a real impact on how cyber threats are identified, quantified, or mitigated. The winner will be a refreshingly new way of doing business, a technological breakthrough or a particularly interesting partnership of skills to make a splash in 2025. 

Cyber SME Insurer or MGA of the Year

The winner of this award will be an insurer or MGA that has demonstrated a unique ability to advance the cyber coverage take-up rate among small and medium enterprises. This insurer or MGA is a pioneer helping to expand the overall cyber insurance market.

Cyber Law Firm of the Year

This award recognizes the law firm that has been unparalleled in its work within the cyber insurance space in 2025.

Cyber Retail Broking Team of the Year

The winner of this award will have expanded the cyber sector either by a new sales technique or initiative, investing in teams of experts, or by having the best take-up rate in the market.

Cyber Wholesale Broking Team of the Year

The winner of this award will have enhanced the cyber sector either by innovating a new sales technique or initiative, investing in teams of experts, or developing new products or services.

Cyber Reinsurance Broking Team of the Year

This award will go to a reinsurance broking team that made major contributions to the market in 2025, navigating a rapidly evolving space, bridging the gaps between primary carriers and reinsurers, and helping build the future of cyber insurance.

Cyber MGA of the Year

The winner of this award will be a managing general agent that has demonstrated an ongoing commitment to cyber by working on an insurer's behalf, demonstrating specialized expertise to underwrite policies, and working closely with clients to meet their needs.

Cyber Insurer of the Year

The winner of this award will be an insurer that has demonstrated an ongoing commitment to cyber through investment and entrepreneurialism. They will have mastered the right blend of underwriting discipline while meeting the needs of brokers and buyers.

Cyber Reinsurer of the Year

This award will recognize an outstanding reinsurer that has gone above-and-beyond in 2025 to partner with carriers to offer adequate limits for cyber clients.
